Each year, St. Lawrence Church offers a Men's Cornerstone Retreat and a Women's Cornerstone Retreat -- 27-hour encounters with Christ through the faith sharing stories of a team of lay parishioners who have been preparing for the retreats all year long. The retreats offer a time of spiritual renewal and Christian brotherhood or sisterhood and from Cornerstone flows a steady stream of men and women enthusiastic about their new-found or renewed faith, eager to become more involved in the faith life of their parish community.
In addition to the annual retreats and preparing for those, the Cornerstone Men and the Cornerstone Women also meet regularly in small groups to pray, discuss and grow in their faith, deepen their friendships, perform acts of service, and encourage one another on their spiritual journeys.
