The parishioners of St. Lawrence Church have generously supported numerous families over the years during the holiday season. The agencies we assist continue to depend on our donations so they can continue their good work. If you are in a position to help out, please consider participating in this year’s Giving Tree. Below is the list of organizations that we will be supporting:
St. Peter’s Village/Orphanageprovides a temporary home for young boys and provides them with a safe environment to live and learn. With the help of Target, Amazon or Walmart gift card donations, the orphanage is able to shop for Christmas gifts for the boys. Family Promise of Morris County provides assistance to homeless children and their families in Morris County. This year they have requested ShopRite, Walmart and Amazon gift cards. Birth Haven provides assistance and a safe environment to pregnant teenage girls by supporting and educating them while they await the birth of their baby. ShopRite, Amazon, Marshall’s, and Walmart gift cards provide the most help to them this year. Catholic Family & Community Services of Paterson supports inner city families and children and adults who have disabilities. This year they have requested Walmart and ShopRite gift cards. St. Agnes Parish and Our Lady of Fatima (Fr. Roland’s Parish) have asked for our support for their families in need. Donations of ShopRite and Walmart gift cards will greatly assist a family that needs help during this holiday season. Local parish families that are experiencing challenges.
